Malaysia's food and drink industry will meet with their counterparts from around the world in Kuala Lumpur next month.

(OPENPRESS) June 18, 2010 --

Culinary connoisseurs who are keen to mingle with the leading lights of Malaysia's food and drinks industry while they are staying in accommodation in Kuala Lumpur should be sure to check out the Malaysian International Food and Beverage (MIFB) trade fair.

The event is set to take place at the Putra World Trade Centre in the city between July 22nd and 24th 2010 and is being billed as the country's leading event for the sector.

Now in its 11th year, MIFB aims to provide a showcase for all the latest innovations, products and services to have come out of the food and beverage industry over the past 12 months.

People who decide to head to the show while they are staying in accommodation in Kuala Lumpur will find they are far from the only ones planning to attend - visitors are expected from across the country and around the world.

Anyone who has connections to the industry should certainly consider checking it out, as the organisers have said it will offer a window of opportunity for potential trade and investment agreements to be negotiated.

Events of this nature are popular in Malaysia, with the country also celebrating the national Food and Fruit Fiesta throughout next month.
